Stretch Therapy

Our one on one Stretch Therapy sessions are conducted by trained professionals and are tailored to the needs of the individual using a mixture of techniques including PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation), specifically targeted myofascial and trigger point release techniques and gentle eccentric stretches on specialised spring loaded equipment.

Regular Stretch Therapy sessions are not only an effective way to increase flexibility and help to reduce injury, but can also alleviate muscle tension and body aches, increase relaxation, improve balance and general sense of wellbeing.

At Balance and Restore Wellness we have a deep and comprehensive understanding of anatomy, posture and movement patterns which enables us to identify and specifically target areas of tension and concern.  Whether it is a chest, neck and diaphragm stretch to help improve your breathing, an overly tight Periformis muscle pressing on the sciatic nerve, or simply tight hip flexors contributing to lower back discomfort, a gentle hour of closely supervised, targeted stretching at our studio can help to balance and restore your flexibility, mobility and sense of wellbeing.
